Iliana Murguia of Nipomo High in California placed second in the Division 4 girls final at the Central Section Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno. Murguia covered the 5-kilometer layout in 19:53.09 for Nipomo, which finished second overall behind Santa Maria by a 75-94 margin.
